“Insert sexist joke about a woman, sandwiches and a kitchen”
-People who think they are funny but in fact are not
If I wore this, I think I would be expecting Sally Field to jump out of the pantry and offer me the baking soda, in all honesty. Reminiscent of Gidget days, this gorgeous retro apron is almost too wonderful to wear to protect your clothes whilst cooking. Heck, it’s better than any of the clothes I would wear to bake in anyway! Regardless, it’s a quaint touch to a kitchen filled with potential culinary delights (or disasters), and makes me wish someone would jokingly order me back to the kitchen, just so I can oblige. Thanks to Danielle from sugarandspiceaprons, you can look and feel like a 60’s housewife, and still keep your career and single status (should you be just looking after yourself). And the best part? These custom made babies only cost $30 US, plus a little extra for postage. Now you can enjoy looking fabulous, even if it doesn’t taste so good!

I remember first seeing this sort of thing at the end of last year and swooning over it, but it’s only been just now that I’ve remembered how charming it really is! I mean sure, to most people having an old book now slung over your arm and carrying a few of your nearest and dearest belongings may be tacky, but I think it’s quite a novel idea. The key to finding a good one, at least in my opinion, is not necessarily in the book and cover art, but in the handle. I think the book can be a perfectly wonderful novel, and have a gorgeous design, but if the handle is too short, beaded funnily or just odd, it doesn’t seem right. I suppose that’s why I took such a shine to this one, created by the lovely ones at spoonfulofchocolate. Be sure to have a look at their lovely range of book purses.

I have to admit, I’ve never really been a big jewelry person, but if I do wear jewelry, it’s usually a small necklace, or a ring. However, when I saw these, I nearly squealed with excitement at the charm and innovation! These bracelets, made by Abigail from StayGoldMaryRose are made from vintage, bone china teacups. Although their practicality is slightly questionable, it’s a clever and simultaneously adorable idea that definitely makes me want to snatch it up and place it on my wrist. Each are roughly $47 each, which is slightly expensive, but come with their own wooden giftbox!

This is the perfect, adorable ode to the bolo tie. Not only is it completely lovely, but Gwendolyn from Bodacious Bolos sells numerous designs. It definitely summons the inner cowboy, and I’m guessing it would look adorable with a buttoned up shirt, especially now that it’s cooling down enough to wear one. Each Bolo is $39, but since it’s hand crafted and gorgeous, I think it’s worth the dough!

Personally, I think brooches are the most adorable of all accessories. Although often tiny, they’re understatedly beautiful, and you can find the cutest things to gladly pin to your chest! Although I’m usually a fan of wooden brooches above all else, I would order this little gem in a heartbeat, and the lovely owner of Silk Purse Sow’s Ear has a whole range of jewelry items waiting to be plucked off her page and into your shopping basket. Plus, I’m a huge fan of woodland creatures, if you couldn’t already tell!
